Value Discovery Sprint
Boldr AI's Value Discovery Sprint is 2–4 weeks of diagnosis and design. We measure how a process runs today, decide what to eliminate, standardize, improve, automate or robotize, and put a number on the value before anything gets built. Nothing goes into production during the sprint; when it helps you decide, we add an MVP or a pilot.
Two weeks for one process, four at most
Not sure which process to start with? We pick it with you on the first call.
Weeks 1–2 · Diagnose and design
- How the process runs today, measured from your systems' data
- A decision for every step
- A business case your finance team can rebuild
- The target design, with its human checkpoints
Process mining where your systems keep event logs.
Weeks 3–4 · only if needed · Go deeper
- More processes, entities or systems
- An MVP or a pilot on real data, when it helps you decide
Every step gets one of five decisions: Eliminate, Standardize, Improve, Automate, Robotize.
Decision · Deploy or stop
The case holds. The POD sized in the sprint, composed or dedicated, runs the deployment. We measure it against the sprint's baseline.
It doesn't. You keep the diagnosis, the design and the numbers, with no obligation to continue.
We need someone who can make the call at the end, time with the people who run the process, and read access to the systems it touches. We work your business hours, with a senior team that contracts through our US entity and works from Latin America. How composed and dedicated PODs work · Results we've published
How it compares with readiness assessments and discovery workshops
Firms use these three names loosely. We use them like this.
| AI readiness assessment | AI discovery workshop | Value Discovery Sprint | |
|---|---|---|---|
| The question | Is the organization ready for AI? | Which use cases should we consider? | Where does AI pay off in this process, and what changes first? |
| Ends with | A readiness score and recommendations | A prioritized list of use cases | A business case with numbers, the target design and, when useful, an MVP or pilot |
| Next step | A roadmap | A proposal to build | A deployment run by a composed or dedicated POD |
Who it's for
A good fit
Operations, revenue and CX leaders at US mid-market companies ($10M–$125M in revenue) with high-volume manual work.
A pilot that stalled
Your AI pilot never reached production and you want to know why before spending more.
Not the right first step
You already know what to build and need engineers, or you need a company-wide program.
Questions about the Value Discovery Sprint
What is a value discovery sprint?
A value discovery sprint is 2–4 weeks of diagnosis and design on a specific process. It finds where AI will create measurable value, decides what to eliminate, standardize, improve, automate or robotize, and sizes the business case before anything is built, with an MVP or pilot when it helps the decision.
How long does a Value Discovery Sprint take?
Between 2 and 4 weeks. One process takes 2. More processes, more entities or systems, or an MVP or pilot can take it to 4.
How much does a Value Discovery Sprint cost?
It's a fixed price, set by scope: how many processes, which entities or systems, and whether there's an MVP or pilot. You'll know the price before we start.
Why pay for a sprint when some firms offer a free assessment?
Free assessments tend to end with a list of use cases. The sprint works on your data and ends with a business case and a design that you keep, whether or not you deploy with us.
What access do you need, and how is our data handled?
Read access to the systems the process touches, and time with the people who run it. Data retention and the rule against using your data to train models are set in the contract.
Do we need clean data or an in-house AI team first?
No. Part of the sprint is finding out what data you have and what it's good enough for. The design assumes the team you have today.
